Generative AI could drive a 7% (or almost US$7 trillion) increase in global GDP and lift productivity growth by 1.5 percentage points over a 10-year period.

CUHK is a top global leader in AI research field. Offered by the Faculty of Engineering, the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (MSc AI) Programme aims to preserve, create, apply, and disseminate knowledge through education in this important discipline. It also serves the needs and enhances the well-being of the citizens of Hong Kong, China, and the world community.

MSc AI graduates are expected to have acquired comprehensive state-of-the-art knowledge and relevant expert skills in AI. Upon completion of the Programme, students should have reasonably knowledgeable in AI and have accumulated some experience in practical applications and project development. Their knowledge in the discipline, their communication skills, and their attitude to applications of AI technologies in real life should have been enhanced.
